The capstone project entitled “Mobile Loan and Inquiry Application” is a mobile based platform for offering loan services. Loan management and inquiry will be done through mobile technology. The mobile application would provide a paperless transaction for loan queries.
Nowadays, financial institutions are coming up with ways on how to improve the quality of their customer services. One of these is in providing their loan services. In the conventional way, transactions are done physically between the lender and those who wish to inquire loans. Loads of paper works are involve and the response time is slow. The manual process is inconvenient for both parties.
One pertinent solution for the problems mentioned above is the use of mobile technology. Financial institutions may automate their loan services through the use of a mobile application. This project would be of great help in achieving cost saving loan procedures and better customer services. The application would be convenient to use for both parties in managing and inquiring loans. Transactions for loan management and inquiries will be done through the use of the application. The application will have two sides the user and the admin side. The users are those who wish to inquire for a loan and the admins are those who provide loans.
Objectives of the Study
General Objective- the main objective of this capstone project is to design and develop a mobile based platform for loan management and inquiry. It is also intended to replace the manual method of transaction. Parallel method will be used for the implementation of the said project
The specific objectives are the following:
- The capstone project will serve as a platform for transaction to process and inquire loans.
- System features will be divided into two sides, the user and the admin side.
- To develop an automated processing of loan that can provide convenience for the both parties.
- The project will improve the customer service and response time of the lenders.
Significance of the Study
User. The users of this application are those who wish to inquire loans. This capstone project will benefit them by providing them a paperless and portable transaction for their loans.
Admin. The admin of this application are the lenders. This project will help them manage loans and also respond to the queries quickly. This will be convenient for them especially in managing and giving updates to those who inquire for loans.
Researchers. Their effort in designing and developing this capstone project will be highly appreciated for it is a great help to different financial institutions. Also, their knowledge and skills in programming will also be trained and enhanced.
Future Researchers. The output of this capstone project will serve as their basis for future research queries. The future batch of researchers can upgrade the system or pursue a similar study.
