Introduction

Nowadays, many companies are already engaging with the various services and products of information technology to make business transactions faster and more convenient. Technology makes our everyday life simple just like how people could communicate within fraction of seconds even though indefinite distance is evident; thus it proves that nothing is impossible now with the application of advance technology.  Technology now makes devices perform multiple functions.

In the society many companies are now operating and managing their business using the web, one of the reasons is to promote the business without investing a large amount of money by spending it through creating flyers, advertisements in newspaper and etc… Sometimes, people find it easier to scout for jobs using the internet and instead of reading several pages of the newspaper.

Their recruitment system and performance management system tend to provide a traditional transaction data operations and reports for their applicant. The in charge is manually adjusting the personal data of applicants before passing it to the HR department. Then the HR personnel will also have to manually get the data from each database, which consumes a lot of time and effort and this kind of process is prone to various types of errors.

The proponents intend to develop a system that will interconnect all the related information of the daily time record and recruitment system as we integrate the capabilities of a performance management system to overcome the limitations inherent in the design of  a propose performance management system with online recruitment.

General Objective

To propose a Web Based Employee Performance Management with Online Recruitment Module for evaluation of employees performance, monitoring of applicant deployed and step  increment that will allow the HR management to work  in a collaborate manner efficiently by providing support in solving.

This would help the employees find a job especially this would be beneficial to the HR management in keeping and knowing the records of an employee with performance management system offers deal of help and data.

Specific Objectives

  • To develop a module that will provide support for recruitment/selection of applicants.

The proponents will develop a module that will provide decision and support for the selection of applicants. The criteria will be based on the qualification requirements of a particular job position. The system will be providing an effectively ranking of the applicants based on the given criteria.

  • To develop a module that will provide support for the Performance evaluation for the employee.

The proponents will develop a module that will help to HR management / Supervisor facilitate the performance evaluation and also to provide a graphical comparison of evaluations.

  • To develop a module that will provide support for the selection of employees for the promotion and renewal.

The proponents will develop a module that will utilize the existing information in the database and use it as a basis to total of performance evaluation result as a basis to provide support in identifying of whose employees should have a promotion and renewal.

  • To develop a module that will provide support for the notification of employees for the scheduled of an interview and updates the outdated employment contract.

The proponents will develop a module that will provide  notification update  of an applicant inform the HR management of the essential updates such as an contract, scheduled interviews and etc.

Scope and Limitation

The following will be the scope of the proposed system:

  • Recruitment/ Selection

A module that will be used as the data entry for the job vacancies and applicants. This will also help the HR management to track the application status of a particular applicant for a specific job vacancy.

  • Notification Module

This module will inform the HR management of the essential updates such as outdated employment contract, scheduled of an interview and etc. and not also the HR management this module will inform the new recruitment thru email. Disciplinary options for applicants and the system will notify them and the applicants called.

  • Decision Support System

A module that will be integrated to the existing HRIS to provide assistance by utilizing the available information’s in the database in scenarios that requires decision making (such as the recruitment / selection process,)

  • Performance Evaluation

This module will be used by the HR management to facilitate the performance evaluation and also to provide a graphical comparison of evaluations.

Promotion/ Renewal

This module will be used to manage and evaluate the candidates for a particular promotion or renewal.

  • The system will provide an option for applicants for those who wants to know the location whether it’s near or far.
  • The process of applicant to deployed to the company.

The data and process of evaluation for the employee

  • Reports Module

This module creates a copy of documents of the available information in the database. These reports are listed below:

  • Code of Conduct Records
  • All the related information for the applicant
  • Statistic Reports for employee
  • Number of Applicants per day
