The capstone project entitled “Virtual Online Tour Application” is designed as a platform to streamline virtual tours for clients. Any business industry can use the system to accommodate and provide their clients with a virtual experience of their business. For example, the tourist industry and real estate agencies can use the system to provide a virtual tour to their clients about the tourist locations and designs of properties, respectively.
The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the need for an innovative platform that can be used to provide a realistic tour experience to customers. Before the pandemic, most tours are done face-to-face, wherein clients are present in the actual location for a tour experience. The system’s target end-users would only need to register in the system to participate in the virtual tour. The proposed project is efficient and convenient to use. It will allow businesses to continue to operate despite the limits brought by the pandemic. It will help companies save time and cost and at the same time deliver efficient and realistic tours to their clients.
Objectives of the Study
General Objective-the main goal of the project is to design, develop and implement a Virtual Online Tour that is way more realistic than a video tour only.
Specifically, the researchers aim the following objectives:
