WordPress Tutorial – Managing Pages in WordPress

In this lesson we are going to learn how to manage Pages in WordPress.

Pages are similar to posts however pages are more static and aren’t generally expected to change that much.

Creating Pages:

1.      Login to your WordPress site using the administrator account.

2.      Click Add new in the Pages tab in your dashboard to go to the Page administration form.

3.      Fill in the following:

  • Title: Title of the page.
  • Content: The body of your content. It contains the message of the content.
  • Description: Description of the category

4.      Click Add new category button.

Updating of Pages:

1.      Login to your WordPress site using the administrator account.

2.      Click Pages in the Page tab in your dashboard to go to the Page administration form.

3.      It will show you the list of pages you have. Select the page you want to edit and click Edit link.

4.      You will proceed to the edit form. Here you can modify your page details.

5.      Click Update button.

Deleting of Categories:

1.      Login to your WordPress site using the administrator account.

2.      Click Pages in the Page tab in your dashboard to go to the Page administration form.

3.      It will show you the list of categories you have. Select the page you want to delete and click Trash link.

4.      Your post has been deleted.
